Trinity Dogs Blog http://www.trinitydogs.com/Trinity_Dogs/Band_Blog/Band_Blog.html Well, we’re not the most emotive of people when it comes to blogs. We’ve had a very single focus of recording and now, we’re back to performing, writing and having fun. Below are some (and apparently very few) of our thoughts

If you would like to be notified whenever we update the blog, send us your email address with “blog” in the subject line to: trinitydogs@trinitydogs.com iWeb 2.0.4 http://www.trinitydogs.com/Trinity_Dogs/Band_Blog/Band_Blog_files/DSCN3774.jpg Trinity Dogs Blog http://www.trinitydogs.com/Trinity_Dogs/Band_Blog/Band_Blog.html Equinox and puppets ... http://www.trinitydogs.com/Trinity_Dogs/Band_Blog/Entries/2007/10/3_Equinox_and_puppets_....html 4c427e28-4a38-4f96-ba6a-ed1179f466c3 Wed, 3 Oct 2007 09:46:29 -0500 Autumnal equinox is here, the band has two dates coming up in Oct. at Central Markets in Fort Worth and Southlake, Saturdays, Oct. 13th and 20th respectively.

We enjoyed playing for the theatre patrons out for the Hip Pocket Theatre's "The Doggies and the Kitty" production Friday Sept.14th. Hip Pocket's weekend included a Puppetry Festival performance before the play. We played in the backyard while the puppeteers performed across the way on Hip Pocket's property I made it back out Saturday to catch the puppetry show. My daughter, Marley, and several friends were puppeteers extraordinaire, Marley puppeteering as a sprite and a storm cloud!

Always fun playing for the patrons, actors, puppeteers, volunteers and the lizards, spiders and sprites.

Paul
TD Summer http://www.trinitydogs.com/Trinity_Dogs/Band_Blog/Entries/2007/8/10_TD_Summer.html b2606600-9ac0-4a0e-8f8b-0a14534510a9 Fri, 10 Aug 2007 13:13:59 -0500 Summer 2007 has been good for us Trinity Dogs.
We played 4 Saturdays in a row, dodged the rain and had one of our best crowds out at Central Market, Fort Worth.
And definitely the most dancers on the dance floor for that gig! Looks like we made some new fans playing over at Central Market, Southlake.

We'll wrap the summer up at Hip Pocket Theatre, Saturday August 18th. Music is in the "back yard" and starts at 7:00 and the play starts at 9:00, then more music after the play is over.

We're working on an offical CD release party this fall. Thanks to everyone who has made it out to our live performances.

Paul
Gig tomorrow http://www.trinitydogs.com/Trinity_Dogs/Band_Blog/Entries/2007/8/3_Gig_tomorrow.html 3dfb8410-28ac-45e8-9b3d-c6f5161c8503 Fri, 3 Aug 2007 17:19:03 -0500 Well, we’ve been having a lot of fun this summer performing gigs in the Metroplex area. Doing a little rain dodging like everyone else, but it’s hard to complain since we were previously in a two-year drought. This picture is from our last gig at Hip Pocket Theatre. The play’s the thing ...

We’re looking forward to our gig tomorrow at Southlake Central Market. Last week we played at Fort Worth and as usual the crowd was awesome. I need to see if I can schedule a few more gigs there ....

We’re at the tail end of a gig-a-week run, and I, for one, am looking to a little time off to work on some new songs. (Oh, I can’t believe it, I started this with “well” again. Will I never learn???)

Well, that’s all. Have a good weekend, and hope to see you at one of our gigs soon. We had a great time playing last night at Central Market Fort Worth. The weather threatened earlier in the day, but no rain - a little bit of humidity (if you’re definition of a little humidity is 70%), and a nice cool breeze, thanks to the “cold” front. We saw lots of people we knew and a whole lot of people we didn’t. As always at Central Market, there was a talented and excited “mosh pit,” with an average age of about 7. We debuted a new song, played our originals from our CD, and of course a couple of our favorites. Thanks to the folks at Central Market for supporting live local music! We will be playing the Central Market Southlake venue in a few weeks and are very excited. Hope to see you at one of our upcoming venues. And, to Christina (Amanda, Brenda - no seriously, Christina): great to see you, sorry about the name thing.
